Society’s elite have been flocking to St. Tropez since the late 19th century. That certainly hasn’t changed and today, the beautiful peninsula is renowned for its exclusive beach clubs, luxury mega yachts and exquisite fine dining establishments. It is also heaven for those who love the outdoors. It’s easy to overindulge on creamy tarte tropézienne and local rosé wine while in St. Tropez, but then you can work off those extra calories by wandering the coastal path. The winding rocky route starts just outside La Ponche and curves around the peninsula, past secluded coves, hillside steps, sprawling beaches and lavish villas. There is always something to see and do in this stunning French Riviera town.
