Hampton Chocolate Factory
Most people love to imbibe in good chocolate every once in a while and you can tell yourself it’s actually good for you, because it is. Cocoa and dark chocolate are full of powerful antioxidants vital to our bodies. The Hamptons is a luxury in itself and the Hampton Chocolate Factory aims to embed that luxurious vision through its tasty chocolates. Owned and operated by the Gappelberg family, the Hampton Chocolate Factory was born out of the idea that the Hamptons needed an artisanal chocolate brand to get behind, something local, something delicious, exclusive – something that could be indulgent and cool, just like the Hamptons. 77 Main Street, Westhampton Beach.
Tate’s Bake Shop
This adorable shop is committed to uncompromising quality and bake-craft. It is nourishing the soul and delighting the world with exceptional taste experiences. It is what guides everything they do. It all started when Kathleen King, founder of Tate's Bake Shop, began baking when she was just 11 years old, selling small batches of her crisp, buttery chocolate chip cookies off of a fold-out card table on North Sea Farm, her parents' Long Island farmstead. In 1980, when she was only 21, Kathleen rented a space her mother spotted and opened her first bake shop. She developed a full line of traditional American baked goods, perfecting every recipe herself and baking each dessert from scratch. Named after her father, Tate's Bake Shop is the result of Kathleen's love of baking and keen eye for quality. With a community of loyal customers and lines that stretch out the door, Tate's Bake Shop is, as the New York Times noted, "worth putting miles on the odometer." 43 North Sea Road, Southampton.
