Compete in the 11th Annual Wine Cellar Golf and Fishing Tournament in Turks and Caicos
There will be a whole lot of angling going on in Turks and Caicos from March 10-13!
The 11th Annual Wine Cellar Golf and Fishing Tournament 2022 is not only one of the most supported events on the islands, but one of the most fun and the prizes aren’t too shabby, either. You can book a charter or fish from your own yacht for a chance to bag the big one.
Top prize for the heaviest fish is $2,000 on the first two days and $2,000 to whomever snags the largest Mahi Mahi. One of the most exciting aspects of this tournament is watching the weighing and auctioning of all fish caught. In all, there are more than $100,000 in prizes to be won!
All Proceeds Go to Charity
The two-day deep sea fishing experience is a favorite, family-friendly event with locals and visitors alike and lives to serve local charities supporting youth centers and sporting organizations. The first annual WCGFT took place in 2011 where US$10,000 was raised and donated to two charities –The Edward Gartland Youth Center and The Provo Hockey League. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $280,000 to help various youth-oriented organizations.
