A MARRIAGE OF PERFORMANCE AND STYLE

The Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep Professional is equipped with full ocean depth technology yet remains surprisingly slim and light, with a thickness of less than 28 millimeters. The case back features the expedition logo at its center, surrounded by concentric circles—a design that pays homage to the multi-beam sonar technology used by The Five Deeps Expedition team to map the ocean floor. Essential details about the watch, including the model, reference number, DNV-GL certification, maximum tested depth of 15,000 meters, and materials, are all laser-engraved on the case back.

The new Ultra Deep collection, with water resistance up to about 20,000 feet, meets the ISO 6425 certification for saturated diving. Its case design claims four newly pending patents regarding the crystal, crystal gasket, crown, and two-piece case back. 

The watch is crafted from either brushed titanium or a newly developed alloy called O-MEGASTEEL. According to Omega, O-MEGASTEEL is a high-performance stainless steel alloy with superior strength, a brighter white color, and exceptional corrosion resistance.

A UNISEX BEAUTY

The watch is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer, automatic Caliber 8912, which boasts a 60-hour power reserve. While the movement is fully finished and decorated, the case back is closed due to its design as a diver's watch, so the movement is not visible. The watch is not only technologically advanced but also esthetically pleasing, making it suitable for both male and female wearers.

The Ultra Deep starts at US$11,600 for steel versions with a rubber strap, US$11,900 for steel with a bracelet, and around US$13,000 for the titanium model on a NATO strap.
