Be a Superyacht Owner with the Coolest Toy Box

Owning a superyacht is a mark of prestige and of success. It tells the world you have made it. You can sail the seven seas and ride the waves and with all the modern water toys available today, you can also be the one with the most amazing toy (or tender) box.

Here is a list of some of the most hip water toys that will make spending time on your superyacht even more of a thrill!

Sea Bob with GoPro Camera

If you’ve ever wanted to glide through the seas like a dolphin, this electric vehicle provides you that privilege. Quiet, fast, and environmentally friendly, sea bobs can take you down 40 meters to explore aquatic life in the most magical way. Set the maximum speed and start your next crazy adventure. Many models have the added perk of filming your journey with a Go-Pro camera. If you consider yourself easily bored and always searching for the next thrill, a sea bob is just the ticket. The electrically powered scooter lets you dip deep into the azure depths with a top speed of 22 km/h.

Flyboard

Swimming and diving are enjoyable, but adding a little oomph to your water repertoire can be really exciting and what’s more exciting than flying over the water? There’s no reason to stop exploring when it comes to water toys, so come on in, flyboard – the water is fine. This hydro flighting device will take you up to 22 meters above the water’s surface. All you need to do is stand on a board connected by a long hose to the watercraft and you’ll have an experience unlike anything you’ve tried before. The flyboard was invented in 2012 by Franky Zappata, a watercraft rider from France looking to create a gadget allowing users to be fully stable in the air by underfoot propulsion and hand stabilization. Not a sport for the faint of heart, the flyboard is reserved for the most daring looking for a rush like no other. Flyboarding is the next trend for adrenaline junkies. Be one of the first to try it out and have a wild time on your next luxury cruise.

Jet Ski

Designed by Kawasaki in 1972, a jet ski has become an essential component of a luxury yachting experience. Not having at least one on board would be like having caviar without champagne. Jet skis are the fastest way to get around and are used for a multitude of purposes. Although many call any personal watercraft a jet ski, it is actually a brand-specific name. Other options include Sea-Doos by Polar Industries and Wave Runners by Yamaha. The fastest of the bunch can go 160 km/h, turning crystal bays into your own race track. New trends in the industry include electrically powered watercrafts such as the Nikola WAV. With LED lights, a touch screen, and a sensor suite, this new PWC presents the latest advancement in the industry and spectacular addition to any superyacht.

Triton 1650/3 Personal Submarine

This three-person submersible is one of the lightest on the market. Also the most compact model, the Triton 1650/3 weighs 4,000 kilos (or close to 9,000 pounds). It can dive up to 500 meters (or 1,640 feet), but doesn’t take up much room. It’s comparable to a pair of Jet Skis when stowed, that’s how well it does on space. Passengers will love the 360-degree views because of the bulbous acrylic cabin. To resurface just use the single life point, and that’s it. It’s easy to use and a blast all at once.

Water Slide

Who needs a water park when you can turn your yacht into one with an inflatable waterslide? Whizzing down a water slide is the quickest way to feel like a kid again. These slides are often custom made for superyachts to hang off decks. Depending on the size of your boat, you’ll find different models, from lightweight options made for yachts with a rail height under five meters to non-supported slides for those up to 12 meters in height, to the most exciting options made for the largest of boats with curves that will make you dizzy. Easy to use, and very safe, a water slide will provide plenty of fun for all guests.
